Bradley Cooper to co-chair the Met Gala

From running through the streets of Philly in a makeshift trash bag, to serving as a co-chair at one of fashion's biggest annual events.

From running through the streets of Philly in a makeshift trash bag, to serving as a co-chair at one of fashion's biggest annual events. A famous Jenkintown native is proving his versatility as a style-conscious celebrity.

Bradley Cooper was announced Wednesday as part of the organizational committee of the 2014 Met Gala, alongside Oscar de la Renta, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, and of course, Anna Wintour. The overall chair will be Aerin Lauder, whose lifestyle brand, Aerin, is also sponsoring the event.

WWD shared in a report published Wednesday, details of next year's Costume Institute exhibit. The subject is great 20th Century couturier Charles James, a designer known for his gorgeous gowns. His work will be on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 8 to Aug. 10.

Back to Bradley- we imagine the co-chair of the Met Gala can bring two dates. Hopefully we can see the star on the red carpet with his mom, Gloria Cooper, and model girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse.
