Softball Routs Rider as Part of Doubleheader Split

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Drexel softball team split two games at the Spartan Classic for a second-consecutive day, once again handling Rider, 12-0, after falling to the host UNC-Greensboro in Saturday's opener, 5-1. Maddison Timoteo and Devon Metcalf homered for the Dragons in their victory, as Shelby Taylor earned her first win of the year. Slyvia Llamas drove home the only run of the day for Drexel in their loss to UNCG, as Hillary Allen was tagged with the defeat.
