Women's Lacrosse Defeats George Washington, 15-10, in Season Opener

Philadelphia – The Drexel women's lacrosse team trailed by the three goals as the first half came to an end, but their six unanswered goals in the second half helped the Dragons edge George Washington, 15-10, in the 2012 season opener held at Vidas Field. George Washington had a slim 26-22 advantage in shots, but gave up 13 turnovers to Drexel's six. The Dragons' defense held the Colonials to just two goals in the final half, handing George Washington its first loss of the season.
