Temple Golf In Fourth Place After First Round of A10 Championship

Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. – The Temple golf team ended day one of the three-day Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championships held at the Mission Inn Resort in fourth place, three strokes behind third-place Richmond and 19 back of co-leaders Charlotte and Xavier.

Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. – The Temple golf team ended day one of the three-day Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championships held at the Mission Inn Resort in fourth place, three strokes behind third-place Richmond and 19 back of co-leaders Charlotte and Xavier.

Freshman Connor McNicholas led the Owls and was tied for sixth overall with a one over-par 73.  Senior Andrew Mason was tied for 11th place with a four-over 76 while freshmen Steve Burak (79) and Russell Hartung (81) were tied for 26th and 33rd, respectively.  Sophomore Devin Bibeau rounded out the Owls squad with an 86.

Xavier's Herbert Day and Charlotte's Andy Sajevic were tied for the lead, both carding a two-under 70.
