POSTED: Tuesday, November 22, 2011, 10:29 PM

St. Joseph's sophmore forward Daryus Quarles, who missed the Hawks three games in the Charleston (SC) Classic with a foot injury, has been cleared to return to action.

According to school offiicals, Quarles was evaluated on Monday and doctors determined that the foot was stable so he was cleared to resume playing in practice and games.

St. Joseph (3-1) visits Iona (2-1) on Wednesday.

Quarles appeared in the Hawks' opening 72-61 win at Western Kentucky. In 15 minutes he had one point and three rebounds.

He also played in the Hawks exhibition win on Nov 15 against Scranton.
