Ride the RUN215 Racebus to Run The Vineyards 3.2.1 Challenge

Travel to the Run The Vineyards 3.2.1 Challenge in style with the RUN215 Racebus on Sunday, July 12.

What do you long for the most when you finally cross the finish line after a sweaty race?

If a glass of wine is your answer then you don't want to miss the Run The Vineyards 3.2.1 Challenge at Blair Vineyards in Kutztown. On Sunday, July 12 at 9 a.m., you can put your endurance to the test with a 2-mile run with agility obstacles preceded by a 12-minute yoga stretch and then reward yourself with live music and wine afterwards.

But that's only part of the fun.

This year, Philly's favorite running group, RUN215 is gathering a team for the challenge on Sunday, July 12 and they're inviting you to ride with them on their race bus. Going in a group is always more fun, right?

On the bus, you can relax and enjoy coffee, pretzels, snack bars, plus wine and cheese from DiBruno Brothers. Not a wine drinker? Don't worry, they'll pack a few cases of beer, too. The bus will hit the road at 6:30 a.m. This is a 21+ event.

On the inspiration for the RUN215 RACEBUS, Jon Lyons, RUN215 founder, said, "The idea was super organic. Last month someone commented on our Facebook page that we should get a bus together for the Chilly Cheeks 7-Mile Trail Run. We got a school bus and it was insane... just so much fun. Then someone posted on the page about the 3.2.1 Challenge and it happened the same way. This time, we're doing two buses. They're both kind of Bolt Bus-style with bathrooms and comfortable seating."

"The one important thing I want to note is that this is just for the bus ride and you have to register for the race separately. They reserved 100 registrations for us so when you register for the race, enter Run215 as the team name because they do anticipate this race will sell out," Lyons emphasized.

According to Lyons, the Chilly Cheeks Racebus sold out in 10 minutes so you'll want to act fast. Tickets for the bus go on sale at 5 p.m. today and you can register here.

A ride on the RUN215 Racebus will cost you $25. The Run the Vineyard Challenge 3.2.1 is $40 and you can register here. If you have any questions, you can reach Lyons via email at YoRun215@gmail.com.
