Sixers recall Luwawu-Cabarrot from Sevens

The 76ers Wednesday recalled Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot from the Delaware 87ers, their NBA Development League team.

The swingman spent his third assignment with the 87ers on Tuesday to play in that night's game against Grand Rapids Drive at Bob Carpenter Center.

He finished with just one point on 0-for-2 shooting. He made 1 of 2 foul shots, failed to grab a rebound and committed five fouls during his 10 minutes, 27 seconds of action in the 118-103 setback.

The rookie first went there on Nov. 15 to practice with the Sevens. Then he was sent to play against the Greensboro Swarm on Nov. 21. He finished with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in that game.

Playing with the Sevens provides Luwawu-Cabarrot playing time he isn't receiving with the Sixers. He has averaged 1.9 points in 5.9 minutes in 11 appearances.
