Sixers' Embiid, McConnell questionable against Raptors

76ers center Joel Embiid is listed as questionable for Wednesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors at the Wells Fargo Center.

The 7-foot-2, 270-pounder missed Wednesday morning's shootaround with the flu.  He also missed Tuesday's practice. At that time, Embiid was listed as probable.

Point guard T.J. McConnell (right wrist sprain) is also listed as questionable, while reserve center Nerlens Noel (left ankle sprain) is probable.

Both players participated in Wednesday's shootaround. McConnell will be reevaluated during his pregame workout.

McConnell suffered his injury during Saturday's loss to the Washington Wizards and missed Monday's victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.  He had his wrist taped during the shootaround. That's a good sign considering McConnell had a splint on his wrist and hand on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Nerlens Noel (left ankle sprain) participated in the shootaround and is listed as probable. Noel, who suffered his injury Saturday, missed Tuesday's game.

Embiid leads the team with averages of 19.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.43 blocks. His blocks rank third in the NBA.
