Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

With draft lottery ping pong balls in mind, the 76ers are tied with the Orlando Magic for the NBA’s fourth-worst record at 28-51 with three games remaining.

Five things you need to know about the 76ers on April 7:

1.   The 76ers are tied with the Orlando Magic for the NBA's fourth-worst record at 28-51 with three games remaining. The  Sixers conclude the season against the Milwaukee Bucks (Saturday), Indiana Pacers (Monday) and New York Knicks (Wednesday). The Magic face the Pacers (Saturday), the Chicago Bulls (Monday) and Detroit Pistons (Wednesday)

2. T. J. McConnell is the first Sixer with at least 500 assists and 125 steals in a season since Allen Iverson did it in the 2005-06 season.  McConnell is ninth in the league with 127 steals and 10th with 508 assists.

3.  The Sixers rank third in the NBA in steals at 663. Thursday marked the 24thth time that they recorded at least 10 steals in a game this season.

4. Dario Saric leads all NBA rookies with 499 rebounds. New York Knicks center Willy Hernangomez is second at 463.

5.    Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot has scored 18 or more points in four straight games. He had 19 points against the Cavs on March 31. He scored 23 points on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors, followed by 19 against the Brooklyn Nets (Tuesday) and  18 against the Bulls (Thursday).
