Okafor in elite company

CLEVELAND – Jahlil Okafor joins LeBron James and Kevin Durant as the only players to score at least 80 points in their team's first four games at the age 19 and under.  Okafor, 19, leads all rookies in scoring at 20.3 points per game.

The 76ers' third overall pick out of Duke scored 26 points in the season-opener against the Boston Celtics.  Then he tallied 10 points against the Utah Jazz, 24 vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers and 21 against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Time will tell if the 6-foot-11, 268-pounder can duplicate the sucessful careers of James and Durant.

Both were named rookie of the year in their inaugural seasons.

James has won four league MVP awards, while Durant has one. And both players are perennials NBA all-stars.
