Kazemi joins Sixers for Orlando Summer League

ORLANDO – Arsalan Kazemi is back with the 76ers – at least for the summer.

The 6-foot-7 power forward joined their Orlando Pro Summer League  team in time for Monday morning's practice at Silver Star Gym.

Kazemi was drafted by the Washington Wizards with the 54th pick in the 2013 draft and traded to the Sixers on draft night.  In the process, the 24-year-old became the first Iranian to get drafted in the NBA.

He played in the Orlando league last summer before the Sixers stashed him overseas.  Kazemi averaged 13.1 points and 11.1 rebounds for Petrochimi Bander Imam of the Iran Super League.

The former Oregon standout will be available to play in the three remaining games in Orlando.  He will not play on the Sixers Las vegas Summer League squad.
