Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1. The Sixers go from an exciting squad capable of upsetting one of the NBA's elite squads to an accident waiting to happen when Joel Embiid doesn't play.

2. Coach Brett Brown might want to rethink using Nik Stauskas instead of Sergio Rodriguez as the backup point guard.  The Sixers had a tough time scoring with Stauskas replacing Rodriguez on Saturday against the Hawks.

3. This shouldn't come as a surprise. The Sixers lead the NBA in turnovers at 16.6 per game.

4. The Sixers are also one of the league's worst scoring teams. They rank 28th out of 30 teams with a 99.0 points per game average.

5.   Dario Saric is the league's fourth-best rookie free-throw shooter at 77.8 percent. Embiid is one place back at 77.7.
