Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1.  TJ McConnell ranks 13th in the NBA in assists (373) and 18th in steals (92). He's one of seven players in the league with at least 365 assists and 90 steals.

2.   Robert Covington dropped from third to fifth in steals after failing to record one Saturday night against the Detroit Pistons. He's averaging 1.93 steals per game.

3. McConnell, Dario Saric and Sergio Rodriguez finished with eight assists apiece against the Pistons. This was the first since Jan. 12, 2003 that three Sixers each had eight assists in a game. Back then, it was Aaron McKie, Allen Iverson and Eric Snow.

4. Saric extended his streak of double-figure scoring streak to 12 games. It's the second longest streak in the NBA by a rookie behind Joel Embiid (15).

5. The 136 points the Sixers surrendered to the Pistons are Saturday are the most scored against them since the Portland Trail Blazers scored 139 on Dec. 14,2013.
