Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today

1.  The Sixers are getting abused by elite point guards. The Celtics' Isaiah Thomas dropped 37 points to become the fifth point guard to score at least 30 this season against the Sixers. The others are Kyrie Irving (39), James Harden (33), Russell Westbrook (32), and Jeff Teague (30).

2. Dario Saric recorded his third double-double of the season Saturday with 21 points and 12 rebounds. He ranks second among all NBA rookies in that category, behind teammate Joel Embiid (five).

3. The Sixers are one of the league's top three-point-shooting teams. They rank seventh in both three-pointers made (10.8 per game) and three-point percentage (36.6).

4.  The Sixers' defense without Embiid is the equivalent of a layup line. Teams just drive the lane with ease when he's not playing.

5.  By now, folks know the Sixers are a turnover waiting to happen. They rank last in the league with 16.6 turnovers per game.
