NEW YORK – Brown Brown wants to keep Jarvis Varnado.

We will find out Tuesday if the 76ers coach gets his wish.

Monday is the final day of the 6-foot-10 power forward’s 10-day contract with the Sixers. The franchise can resign him to a second 10-day deal on Tuesday.

“I’m thrilled with him, so far,” Brown said of Varnado. “I think he’s a good guy. I think he’s just so willing to please, so coachable. Then he has a skill of blocking shots and a toughness inside.
