76ers send Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot to Delaware 87ers

The 76ers assigned rookie guard Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot to the Delaware 87ers, their NBA D-League team.

The assignment was made so he could get in a full practice and scrimmge while the Sixers had the day off on Tuesday.

Luwawu-Cabarrot has made seven appearances so far for the Sixers, usually just a handful of minutes per game. His best performance came in Monday's blowout loss in Houston, where he scored four points on 2-for-3 shooting and grabbed one rebound in nine minutes on the floor.

The native of southern France was the 24th overall pick in this year's draft.
