76ers-Spurs best/worst: Dewayne Dedmon, Nik Stauskas, poor shooting and turnovers

SAN ANTONIO – Here is my look at some of the best and worst performances and happenings from the San Antonio Spurs' 102-86 victory over the 76ers on Thursday night at the AT&T Center.

Best performance:  For the second straight night, an unheralded post player went beast mode on the Sixers. This time, it was Spurs center Dewayne Dedmon, a former Sixer. The 7-footer finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in 22 minutes, 20 seconds.  He made 5 of 7 shots and all three of his foul shots.

Worst performance: This goes to Nik Stauskas. The Sixers shooting guard missed 8 of his 10 shots en route to finishing with eight points. He graded out at a minus-18.

Best defensive performance: Kawhi Leonard gets this award. The Spurs small forward finished with two steals and two blocked shots. The two-time NBA defensive player of the year also had a lot to do with Dario Saric's rough shooting night.  Saric finished with 14 points, but made just 5 of 17 shots.

Best performance by a Sixer: Ersan Ilyasova receives this. The Sixers power forward finished with a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds. He shot 7 for 10 from the foul line.

Worst statistic: This award goes Sixers' second-half shooting. They made just 10 of 41 shots for 24.4 percent after intermission.

Best statistic: This award goes the Sixers' second-half foul shooting. They made 10 of 11 for 90.9 percent.

Worst of the worst:  You have to give this to the Sixers' turnovers, once again. On most nights, this team is a turnover waiting to happen. Thursday night was no different. This time, the Sixers committed 24 turnovers.
