Here is my look at some of the best and worst performances from the Chicago Bulls’ 121-108 victory over the 76ers Sunday night at the United Center.
CHICAGO – Here is my look at some of the best and worst performances from the Chicago Bulls' 121-108 victory over the 76ers Sunday night at the United Center.
Best performance: I had to give this one to Jimmy Butler. The Chicago Bulls swingman finished with 28 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Ten of the All-Star's points came in the third quarter.
Worst performance: Gerald Henderson couldn't avoid this award. The reserve shooting guard missed all three of his shots en route to being held scoreless. He graded out at a minus-12 in his 8 minutes, 37 seconds of action.
Best defensive performance: Robert Covington gets this award. The Sixers' small forward finished with a team-high three steals and three blocks. Covington also had a solid all-around game, finishing with 21 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
Best performance by a Sixer: Ersan Ilyasova receives this. The Sixers power forward finished with a game- and season-high 31 points to go with 11 rebounds. He shot 11-for-19 from the field.
Worst statistic: This award goes to the Sixers' three-point shooting in the fourth quarter. They made just 2 of 8 threes, shooting 25.0 percent at that critical time.
Best statistic: This award goes the Bulls' three-point shooting. They made 8 of 14 for 57.1 percent.
Worst of the Worst: You have to give this to the Sixers' reserves. They were missing in action. The Bulls outscored the Sixers 49-15 in bench points.
