Five things you need to know about 76ers today

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today:

1.  The Sixers remain undermanned.  Starting point guard Sergio Rodriguez (left-ankle sprain) and reserve center Richaun Holmes (concussion) will both miss Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

2.  Joel Embiid said his band-aids are not a big deal. The center had two huge band-aids on his knees during Tuesday's  shootaround. He said the band-aids were the results of scratches.

3. Don't be surprised to the see the Sixers pair Embiid and Nerlens Noel on the court together at some point against the Timberwolves. The Sixers could look at Noel to guard versatile center Karl-Anthony Towns.

4.  Las Vegas expects Minnesota to sweep the Sixers. The Timberwolves are a four-point favorite. They defeated the Sixers, 110-86, back on Nov. 17.

5.  Tuesday marks  the anniversary of one of Moses Malone's remarkable double-doubles as a Sixer. The late center finished with 26 points and 19 rebounds in a loss to the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 3, 1984.
