Nick Williams activated off Reading's disabled list
Nick Williams, the Phillies top outfield prospect, returned from the 7-day disabled list (concussion) and started double-A Reading's regular-season finale on Monday afternoon at Richmond.
Williams had been sidelined since Aug. 26. He came into Monday's matinee hitting .326 with a .902 OPS in 92 at-bats since joining the Phillies organization in July as a key part of the Cole Hamels trade with the Texas Rangers.
