The Phillies were decimated by the Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota today, 15-4. A.J. Burnett had the start, going three innings and giving up seven hits and six runs, with one strikeout and a walk.

The offense could summon only six hits, including solo shots by Darin Ruf and Cameron Rupp. Ubaldo Jimenez made his Orioles debut, throwing two perfect innings with three K's. Five more Orioles pitchers finished the job, striking out five.

The Phillies' bullpen combined to give nine hits, nine runs, five walks, and one strikeout by Cesar Jimenez. Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez allowed four runs on 31 pitches, walking two and hurling a wild pitch.
