Kyle Kendrick, who pitched in more than 200 games for the Phillies over the last eight seasons, has agreed to a free agent contract with the Colorado Rockies, according to multiple media reports.

The deal is for one year and $5.5 million in base salary, according to Yahoo! Sports. The 30-year-old righthander made $7.7 million last season.

Kendrick went 74-68 with a 4.42 ERA in 226 outings, 185 starts, for the Phillies, who drafted him in the seventh round of the 2003 draft. He went 10-13 with a 4.61 ERA in 32 starts last season.

Coors Field is certainly a curious fit for Kendrick, who surrendered 25 home runs last season. His career ERA in 37 2/3 innings at Colorado's hitter-friendly park is 5.26.
