Slumping Chase Utley out of Tuesday's lineup

Chase Utley, mired in a prolonged slump, is out of Tuesday night's Phillies lineup against the Braves.

ATLANTA - Chase Utley, mired in a prolonged slump, is out of Tuesday night's Phillies lineup against the Braves.

Utley, 36, is hitting a woeful .103 on the season. He was 0 for 4 with a run scored in Monday's 6-2 win in which the Phillies recorded a season-high 14 hits. Amazingly, he still leads the Phillies in RBIs (14) and ranks second in home runs (3) but has yet to double.

Cody Asche moves to the three-hole while Cesar Hernandez will man second base. Darin Ruf, 8 for 16 over his last four starts, starts in left while Ben Revere gets his first start in right field since 2012, when he was with the Minnesota Twins.

The Phillies will face righthander Shelby Miller. Here is their full lineup behind Chad Billingsley, making his first major league start in two years:

1. Ben Revere RF

2. Freddy Galvis SS

3. Cody Asche 3B

4. Ryan Howard 1B

5. Darin Ruf LF

6. Odubel Herrera CF

7. Cesar Hernandez 2B

8. Carlos Ruiz C

9. Chad Billingsley RHP
