Lecavalier shifted to center on 2nd line

COLUMBUS — In an effort to get Vinny Lecavalier going, Flyers coach Craig Berube is making some line changes for Thursday's game in Columbus.

Based on the pregame warmups, Lecavalier will center the second line, with Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds as his wingers. Schenn had been centering the productive line, which had included Scott Hartnell.

Hartnell will go to the third line.

Since returning from a back injury, Lecavalier has been playing left wing on the third line, and he has just one goal in 16 games.

The Flyers lines figure to look like this:

* Claude Giroux centering Michael Raffl and Jake Voracek.

* Lecavalier centering Schenn and Simmonds.

* Sean Couturier centering Hartnell and Matt Read.

* Adam Hall centering Chris VandeVelde and Steve Downie.

The Flyers' problem is that they have four players _ Giroux, Schenn, Lecavalier and Couturier _ who are all best-suited playing at center.

Ray Emery will oppose former Flyer Sergei Bobrovsky.
