Eagles tumble in Domo's NFL power rankings

So, did Chip Kelly say his team needs to execute better or be executed?

Paul Domowitch's NFL power rankings for Oct. 5 (previous week's ranking in parentheses):

1. Packers 4-0 (1)

Eleven TD passes, 0 interceptions. Olivia Munn. Life is good right now for Aaron Rodgers.

2. Patriots 3-0 (3)

And in Week 4, Bill Belichick rested.

3. Bengals 4-0 (4)

Could this be the year that Andy Dalton and the Bengals finally win a playoff game?

4. Broncos 4-0 (5)

Peyton Manning is 4-0 for the seventh time in his illustrious career.

5. Falcons 4-0 (6)

The last time the Falcons started 4-0 (in 2012), they made it to the NFC title game.

6. Cardinals 3-1 (2)

Going 1-for-5 in the red zone will kill you every time.

7. Seahawks 2-2 (7)

Scored just 1 TD v. Lions defense that was giving up 28 points p/game.

8. Panthers 4-0 (12)

Panthers have a league-best plus-8 turnover differential.

9. Colts 2-2 (13)

Winning 15 straight in the AFC South is only slightly more difficult than getting an "A'' in gym.

10. Cowboys 2-2 (8)

Defense will get a big boost this week with the returns of Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain.

11. Steelers 2-2 (9)

Josh Scobee: gone but certainly not forgotten.

12. Jets 3-1 (15)

Jets have an NFL-high 13 takeaways.

13. Chiefs 1-3 (10)

Andy Reid is the owner of the worst third-down offense in the league.

14. Rams 2-2 (21)

Todd Gurley's coming out party was an overwhelming success.

15. Vikings 2-2 (16)

Close counts only in horseshoes and hand grenades. Oh, and power rankings.

16. Bills 2-2 (11)

Without LeSean McCoy, the Bills rushed for just 55 yards in loss to Giants.

17. Ravens 1-3 (19)

Did Justin Tucker save the Ravens' season or just give it a shot of morphine?

18. Chargers 2-2 (18)

An OT win over the Browns. Big whoop.

19. Eagles 1-3 (14)

So, did Chip Kelly say his team needs to execute better or be executed?

20. Redskins 2-2 (24)

They controlled the ball for 41 minutes in 3-point win over the Eagles.

21. Giants 2-2 (26)

Eli Manning has been sacked only four times.

22. Dolphins 1-3 (17)

Joe Philbin paid the price for the Dolphins' disappointing start.

23. Lions 0-4 (21)

Sacked Russell Wilson six times. And still lost. Again.

24. Texans 1-3 (20)

Wonder if J.J. Watt might be interested in playing QB.

25. Titans 1-2 (25)

Marcus Mariota will get his toughest test this week v. Bills defense.

26. Raiders 2-2 (23)

A chance to go to 3-1 and they lose to. . . the Bears? Shame on you.

27. 49ers 1-3 (27)

Remember when Ron Jaworski said Colin Kaepernick could be one of the best QBs ever?

28. Saints 1-3 (31)

Who completes 33 of 41 passes with a shoulder injury? Drew Brees, that's who.

29. Jaguars 1-3 (30)

Have scored more than 17 points once in four games.

30. Browns 1-3 (28)

Well, at least the weather was nice in San Diego.

31. Bears 1-3 (32)

Jay Cutler is averaging 13 yards per attempt on third down.

32. Bucs 1-3 (29)

The NFL education of Jameis Winston experienced a setback with Sunday's 4-INT performance.
