Eagles sign C David Molk
The Eagles signed center David Molk to a futures contract on Thursday.
Molk is 6-foot-1 and 300 pounds and 25-years old. He was a seventh-round pick by the San Diego Chargers in 2012. He played 12 games in 2012, but was out of the NFL last season. Molk won the Rimington Trophy for the nation's best center during his senior year at Michigan.
The Eagles will have competition for the backup center spot. Julian Vandervelde held that role in 2013.
