Eagles LB Marcus Smith is active vs. Saints

Marcus Smith is active for the Eagles in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Marcus Smith is active for the Eagles in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. It's the second time this season that the 2014 first-round pick will play in a game. He has been inactive for three games. Smith is expected to provide depth to the outside linebackers.

Left tackle Jason Peters is active, as expected. He was the only player who was questionable entering the game.

The Eagles' inactives are quarterback Thad Lewis, running back Kenjon Barner, cornerback Denzel Rice, linebacker Kiko Alonso, offensive lineman Julian Vandervelde, linebacker Mychal Kendricks, and defensive end Brandon Bair.

Alonso (knee), Kendricks (hamstring), and Bair (groin) were declared out for the game.

The Eagles have Cedric Thornton and Taylor Hart back on the defensive line. Thornton will return to his starting post. Jordan Hicks will start at inside linebacker with DeMeco Ryans.
