Domo's updated NFL rankings

How in God’s name did the Eagles average just 2.3 yards per carry against the Dolphins?

Paul Domowitch's NFL rankings for Nov. 17 (previous week's rank in parentheses):

1. Patriots 9-0 (1)

Whoever thought we'd be asking whether Julian Edelman is irreplaceable?

2. Panthers 9-0 (3)

Have scored 27 or more points in seven straight games.

3. Bengals 8-1 (2)

You didn't really think they were going to go undefeated, did you?

4. Cardinals 7-2 (5)

Carson Palmer has a plus-16 touchdowns-to-interceptions differential.

5. Vikings 7-2 (8)

That year off may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to Adrian Peterson.

Did Peyton Manning just become Wally Pipp?

7. Steelers 6-4 (7)

Ben "Willis Reed'' Roethlisberger came off the bench and threw for 379 yards and 3 TDs.

8. Packers 6-3 (6)

So much for the notion that the Packers are unbeatable at Lambeau.

17. Raiders 4-5 (13)

Back-to-back games v. 2-7 Lions and Titans is chicken soup for the 4-5 soul.

18. Redskins 4-5 (21)

If nothing else, they'll be remembered as the team that got Rob Ryan fired.

19. Dolphins 4-5 (22)

No unwinnable games on their schedule until Week 17 rematch with the Patriots.

20. Eagles 4-5 (15)

How in God's name did they average just 2.3 yards per carry against the Dolphins?

21. Bucs 4-5 (24)

Bucs are winning just often enough to save Lovie Smith's job.

22. Bears 4-5 (25)

Jay Cutler had back-to-back 100-plus passer ratings for just second time since 2010.

23. Texans 4-5 (27)

24. Cowboys 2-7 (18)

Romo's back, but is it too late to matter?

25. Saints 4-6 (19)

They fired Rob Ryan, but how about the guy who assembled that poor excuse for a defense?

26. Jaguars 3-6 (31)

Believe it or not, .500 is not an unrealistic possibility for the Gus Bradley Gang.

27. 49ers 3-6 (26)

Last time they played Seattle, they scored 3 points and had 8 first downs.
