The NBA released the ballot for the All-Star Game in Dallas and three Sixers players are on it.

Elton Brand and Andre Igoudala are among the 24 forwards in the East. Samuel Dalembert is among the 12 centers in the East. Dalembert finished second in the fan voting last year, well behind Dwight Howard.

The game will be played on Valentine's Day at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the NBA expecting a crowd of 80,000,  the largest group ever to witness a live basketball game.

Fans can vote via text message for the first time, by sending a player’s last name to 6-9-6-2-2 (“MYNBA). Fans also can vote at each NBA arena and on NBA.com. Voting began today and continues through Jan. 10 for paper ballots and Jan. 18 for electronic voting.

That's a disgrace. Iggy is the only one that should be on there. Not saying he is an all-star, just that he should be on the ballot. The closest Sammy and Brand should get to a ballot is at the next presidential election. Take a look at the C and F ballot roster. It's probably close but Sammy and Brand are probably bringing up the rear in their respective categories.

How terrible is the NBA right now when Andre Iguldala, Elton Brand and Samuel Dalembert are on all star ballots? Just let that sink in for a few minutes. These three players are on all star ballots. ALL STAR BALLOTS YALL. You have got to be kidding me. Please somebody tell me this is a joke. If it is, than it's a sick one. We talking all star ballots yall. Please, please I beg you, somebody wake me up cause I'm in a nightmare. Sam I am was kicked off the canadian olympic basketball team. The CANADIAN OLYMPIC BASKETBALL TEAM and now he's on the all star ballot. These three stoogies. Curely, Larry and Moe. GIve me a break. This is a sick joke. The NBA can't be this bad. I know it's bad, but not this bad. The drop off of talent in the NBA is rediculous. Just imagine seeing Andre Iggy no shot dula getting a pass from a hall of famer player Garrnett. The NBA has a serious problem yall. Forget the drop off in NBA talent. That's obvious. Their is a drop off in NBA fans. When fans vote Iggy on any all star ballot, when players vote Iggy on any all star ballot, the sport is in BIG TROUBLE. I can't phantom seeing Iggy in an all star uniform. I can't phantom it. Slam dunk contest is one thing. All star is another. He is not the best at his position. Iggy isn't even one of the best. Infact he is at the bottom at his position. He's defense isn't good. His jump shot isn't good. And on any other team, a good team, he's a bench player forreal. This guy is not a star. He doesn't make anybody better. If he did, than the team wouldn't struggle against good teams. Andre Iguldala is, has and always will be one of the most overrated players in the NBA and he doesn't deserve to be on any ballot for anything. Please, give me a break

While this appears laughable, it would only be fair to note that the NBA All-Star ballots are extremely "deep." There are only 150 starting spots in the league, and 120 names on the ballot. That's 80% of league starters. The greater atrocity is that Sammy actually managed to finish SECOND in the East last year.

It's a disgrace there's no love for Thad Young the kid's a beast and so is Marrese Speights. Next year both those guys will be replacing Brand and Dalembert on that list. Or maybe Brand will live up to the hype that he came to town with.
