Villanova-Duke viewing party

Giving a new meaning to the phrase "Join me for live coverage."

Villanova-Duke viewing party

Looking for some good people to watch Thursday night's Villanova-Duke game with? Well, I might just have a few.

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be liveblogging the Wildcats' big Sweet 16 showdown in Boston from Tir Na Nog at 16th and Arch in Center City, and I want you to join me there.

Over the course of this season, I've come to know a lot of you by email and comments. Now is a chance for us to actually meet in person and have a great time watching what should be one of the very best games of the NCAA Tournament.

I don't have any information yet on drink specials or anything like that... and I should probably at least give the impression on here that I'll be totally sober while at work... right?

Anyway, Tir Na Nog is a fine place for watching sports and being right on top of Suburban Station it should be easily accessible for everyone. We'll start at around 9:30 and keep it going until Bill Raftery's last order of onions has been served.

If you know for a fact you can make it, please email me and let me know. It'd help if I can get them something resembling a headcount.

It should be a great time.
