Temple hoops in Top 25 for first time since 2001

Juan Fernandez and Lavoy Allen have helped Temple to big wins over Villanova and Seton Hall. (Michael Perez/AP)

Boosted by wins over Villanova and Seton Hall, Temple is ranked No. 21 in this week's Associated Press college basketball poll. It's the first time the Owls have been ranked by the AP since November 20, 2001. They were ranked No. 25 that week.

Temple is also ranked in this week's coaches poll, at No. 25.

(Thanks to the commenters who pointed out I was linking to the wrong week's poll.)
