Now I really need your help

Someone walked out of the Palestra with my computer bag tonight.

I wouldn't normally do something like this, but in the end, I write this blog and sometimes that means I get to write what I really want to write.

The box score from tonight's Princeton-Penn game says that there were 4,087 people in attendance at the Palestra. One of them walked out with my computer bag.

If it was you, or anyone you know, or if you know someone who was there, I would greatly appreciate it if you could just send me an email. It's a black Eagle Creek bag with a black and gray shoulder strap and a blue luggage tag with my name on it. You don't even have to open the bag to know it's mine.

You all know how deeply I value the sense of community that defines college basketball in this region, and knowing the Penn fans as I do I'm really shocked that any of them would do something like this.

I want to believe that someone out there will see this post and return the bag to me. Maybe I shouldn't be that optimistic, but I'd rather try this than do nothing.

Thanks for your help, and I'll talk to you tomorrow from Atlantic City.
