Pet owners come together for the annual Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo

Look, videos of cute dogs are great. But real, live cute dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, and pot-bellied pigs are even better. Luckily, the Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo is returning in 2014 to deliver us all things pets once more. Talk about starting the New Year off right.

Expected to draw upwards of 10,000 guests, the Pet Expo is set to go down January 17,18, and 19 next year at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. In addition to the 10,000 attendees, there will also be a slew of animals to fawn over and wish you owned.

Naturally, there’s the usual pony rides, petting zoos, and demonstrations. But the real sweet spot here is the rat show, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. If that’s not your thing, though, there’s a dog show, a cat agility course, and a demonstration by the Delco Bird Club.

All that to say, us Philadelphians are going to be on cute overload come 2014. Which, of course, is a great problem to have.
