Meatball the Welsh Corgi can't stop playing on his carousel

Meatball the Welsh Corgi can't stop playing on his carousel

Joy. Pure, unbridled canine joy—and a full four-and-a-half minutes of it, too. It doesn’t get much better than a Corgi on a carousel.

When YouTube user Carter Grebbien’s father reconstructed an old carousel, he didn’t likely have the family dog, five-year-old Meatball, in mind as the main user. Thankfully, and for all the internet to see, the little guy took to it as what only can be described as the ultimate piece of equipment for the playground pooch. The video, uploaded yesterday, has already garnered nearly a million hits.

And it’s pretty easy to see why. Look at little Meatball—how happy is, bounding away in circles without a care in his little doggie world. He has found his own furry Shangri-La in Grebbien’s restored carousel.

We all should hope to one day do the same. It is, after all, the simple things.
