The worst flights in the United States

We all hate flight delays. And flights to and from one New Jersey airport fall behind schedule more frequently than other routes.

The Wall Street Journal analyzed which flights appeared on the U.S. Department of Transportation's list of "chronically delayed" flights most frequently over the past two years. The list covers flights that are 30 or more minutes late on at least half of their trips. And the 11 worst flights in the country all arrive at or depart from Newark Liberty International Airport.

Here's the list of the worst flights from the past two years. (The number of months a flight has appeared on the chronically delayed list is in parenthesis.)

1. Flight #4352, Cincinnati to Newark (12)
2. Flight #3831, Washington Reagan to Newark (11)
3. Flight #4092, Dayton, Ohio, to Newark (10)
4. Flight #3854, Newark to Louisville (9)
5. Flight #3807, Grand Rapids, Mich., to Newark (9)
