The American College of Sports Medicine has released its annual American Fitness Index report, which ranks U.S. cities' fitness.

The American College of Sports Medicine has released its annual American Fitness Index report, which ranks U.S. cities' fitness. The report evaluates cities based on preventative health behaviors, chronic disease levels, health care access and community resources that support physical fitness.

3. Parkland makes up 12.9 percent of the city's land area.

4. There are 17.2 farmers' markets per 1 million people.

5. The percent of people who performed some type of physical activity in the last 30 days: 72.3.

6. There are 4.8 swimming pools per 100,000 people.

7. The percent of people who eat five or more servings of fruit/vegetables per day: 24.9.

8. There are 1.6 playgrounds per 10,000 people.

9. The percent of people who smoke: 20.4.

10. There are 118.2 primary health care providers per 100,000 people.
