1. Century 21 opening: The popular New York department store Century 21 opens its Philadelphia outpost today at 8th and Market streets.

2. Sheridan fire: Dispatch logs show more details about rescue crews' efforts to save Cooper University Health System Chief Executive John Sheridan Jr. and his wife, Joyce, after a fire at their Somerset County home, but many questions about their deaths remain.

3. Gentrification in Philly: The Daily News has a special report on how gentrification is changing Philadelphia.

4. Christie campaigns in congressional race: N.J. Gov. Chris Christie is campaigning in South Jersey today for Republican Tom MacArthur, who is running against Democrat Aime Belgard in a competitive race for a U.S. House seat.

5. Trump casino name suit: A court hearing had been scheduled for today over whether the Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City can continue to use the Trump name but is now postponed until late November. Donald and Ivanka Trump are suing the company the mogul previously ran in an effort to get the Trump name dropped from the struggling casino.
