1. Christie's secret surgery: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie secretly had lap-band surgery on his stomach in February. The New York Post reports that the governor checked into a hospital using an alias and has lost 40 pounds.

2. Three missing women found: Three women who went missing separately a decade ago while they were in their teens have been rescued. They had been tied up and held in a home south of downtown Cleveland. Three brothers were arrested in the disappearances. One of the women called a 911 dispatcher on Monday, leading police to the home.

3. Husband to be charged in Northeast Philly murder: Police are preparing to charge 75-year-old Lou Hartdegen in the slaying of his wife, 74-year-old Judith Hartdegen. The killing was initially believed to be a brutal home invasion-homicide.

4. Lindback awards: The Lindback Foundation will honor three Philly instructors with the organization's Distinguished Teaching Award today.

5. Internet sales tax: The Senate has approved legislation that would allow states to require large online retailers to collect sales tax, but the bill faces an uncertain path in House of Representatives.
