1. Subway hero: A man who long battled a drug habit became a hero Thursday, when risked his own life to pull a stranger off SEPTA tracks. Christopher Knaflec jumped onto the southbound tracks to help a man who had fallen at the Cecil B. Moore station on the Broad Street Line and yelled to a cashier to stop an oncoming train.
