North Jersey player recommits to Temple

Josh Brown, a 6-2 guard from St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, has recommitted to Temple.

In June, Brown, who's considered one of the better prospects in his country at the position, had reopened his recruitment process. But Monday afternoon he held a news conference to announce that he will indeed become an Owl. He chose North Broad Street over Rhode Island, Providence and Penn State. Rhode Island has a new coach, Dan Hurley, whose father Bob Sr. is Brown's current coach.

Brown becomes the second member of Temple's 2013 class, joining Camden Catholic guard Kyle Green.
