Another LaSalle senior injured

La Salle senior Yves Mekongo will join fellow seniors Kimmani Barrett and Ruben Guillandeaux on the sidelines.

Mekongo will miss two to four weeks after fracturing the pinky finger on his left hand during practice Monday. He had surgery Friday to repair the fracture.

Mekongo is third on the team in scoring (11.4 ppg.) and rebounding (5.5 rpg.).

Guillandeaux played the first four games of the senior and suffered a stress fracture in his foot. He will miss the rest of the season and apply for a medical hardship for next season. Barrett had foot surgery at the end of January and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, which could end his season.
