WMMR's Robin Lee retires

The vet signs off from radio

WMMR's Robin Lee has retired from radio after 33 years in the biz. Lee came to WMMR 10 years ago to do weekend and fill in work at the station. Before that, she did time at WYSP and was a program director at Allentown's 951 ZZO. Her LinkedIn profile suggests Lee will cotinue her work at web design team websitefreaks.net and working with Gettysburg Ghost Tours.

WMMR personalities — including Pierre Robert, Matt Cord, Sean "The Rabbi" Tyszler, Brent Porche and Kevin Gunn — came into the studio on Sunday, Lee's last day, to commemorate her storied career. In her send off, Tyszler noted that Lee was the only DJ at WMMR that he never emailed about questionable playlists.

Lee posted a goodbye note on her Facebook page, along with a picture of the plaque she was awarded for her time at the station. "It is rare to work in a radio station where you know everyone is pulling for everyone else, and then that goes for our listeners who are our family too. WMMR is truly an amazing place," Lee wrote.

All Access has a clip from her last day, listen below:
