Power 99 parts ways with Golden Girl

Power 99 yesterday let go of longtime host Golden Girl in what we're told was a decision based on budget cuts. A Power 99 spokeswoman declined to reveal specifics as to why the station let her go, but did confirm that she had been "released." Golden Girl, aka Lisa Natson, had hosted weekdays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.. Power 99 spokeswoman, Loraine Ballard Morrill, says the Hot Boyz show will now air from 7 to midnight, instead of 6 to 10. Calls to Golden Girl were not returned Wednesday.
