Playboy model to bare down for fur protest

POSTED: Monday, August 18, 2008, 8:27 AM
Pamela Anderson posed for PETA ads declaring that she'd rather go naked than wear fur.

Playboy Special Editions model Daniela V. may have taken a cue from her. She'll be wearing next to nothing as she joins the Humane League to protest fur sales at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Burberry (1705 Walnut) store.

The Humane League's "Compassion in Fashion" campaign will also bring Daniela V. to Lush (1428 Walnut) from noon to 1 to celebrate the store's cruelty-free non-animal-tested cosmetics.

A couple of things I'd like to say: 1. I love how you used Pamela Andersons name as an example to possibly get people to read this article. 2. I would much rather have a picture of her than this man. And 3. What happened at G Lounge this weekend?

Great move bold facing Pamela Anderson so it appeared you may have actually had a story. But no. Just a typical mailed in Monday column. Fresh off vacation to boot. Must of been scrambling last night checking press releases that came in while you were on vacation.

Hard-hitting journalism? It's a gossip column. Take it for what it is or don't read it.

Keep coming back, you just keep pushing his numbers up. Advertisers don't read your comments, but they do read the numbers. I enjoy this column, it's original, not cut and paste news.
