Kate Walsh, the sexy star of "Private Practice," and formerly "Grey's Anatomy" will be in the area tomorrow campaigning on behalf of Sen. Barack Obama. The raven-headed actress and Cadillac pitchwoman will speak in Doylestown at a Starbucks (10 N. Main) at 11:30 a.m. and is then off to an event in a private home. She'll speak to students at Lafayette College in Easton at 1:30 p.m., will tour Obama's Levittown campaign office at 3:45 and ends her day with a Bryn Mawr College event at 5 p.m. Walsh hopped about the Obama train early on and has visited several other states with earlier primaries talking to voters on his behalf.

UPDATE: Apparently the Obama camp decided it would be more man-of-the-people of them to have Walsh appear at the non-corporate Bucks County Coffee Company (22 N. Main) in Doylestown instead of the Starbucks where she was initially scheduled.

Its funny how Obama won't wear an American flag lapel, but his posters around town are red, white and blue. Obama is a fraud. McCain in 2008.

Obama is NO fraud. Wearing a pin means that a lot of hypocrites walk around with flag pins. You probably cheat on your income taxes. DOES THAT MAKE YOU A TRAITOR. LIGHTEN UP.

Would that make YOU feel better. Did YOU wear the flag during Viet Nam and the Chicago convention. Did you wear the flag when the National Guard beat blacks in the south or shot kids at Kent State. Your choice of symbols astounds me. The country as great as it is allows us all to be individuals and not sheep. Shame on your version of what a patriot i is.

Why is everyone focused on flag lapel pins? I don't see them on the Fox News people. So what gives? The focus should be on whether Alycia will show up and slap this woman. Or whether Obama Girl will be around. That's the substantive reporting I've come to rely on Dan to bring me.

Its the point of he chooses not to wear the flag at one moment that drapes himself in red, white and blue the next. Once Hillary steal the nomination, all the energy is going to be sucked out of the Democratic Party and McCain wins easy. Looks like the same thing might happen if Hillary is the nominee too.

It would be nice if Obama paid a little attention to his current job, US Senator. He's missed nearly 40% of the votes. What would your boss do if you missed 40% of your job responsibilities? Regarding the flag, just another example of the line only he gets to walk.

Well that just seals the deal for me. I didn't know who I should vote for, but if that political sage Kate Walsh says Obama is who I should vote for, that must be the right move. After all, millionaire Hollywood actresses and me are all in the same boat financially, socially, etc. so I should listen to who Hollywood actresses tell me to vote for. They are the experts, I'm just a peon working stiff. I can't be expected to figure these things out for myself.

Advice to those who post multiple times... if you don't see your remark, wait a few minutes then click the Refresh button in your browser. That way we don't have to read the same thing over and over and over...
