Jimmy Fallon will be joining his Tonight Show band, The Roots, Monday night at the 2015 Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame gala at Philly's newest music venue The Fillmore (1100 Canal St.).

He'll be inducting his house band into PMA's Class of 2015, which earns them a permanent position among hometown music legends along the Avenue of the Arts on South Broad Street.

Sources say Fallon will be coming to Philly directly from a live taping of the Tonight Show in his New York City studios, and be personally presenting the band with their ceremonial plaque.

With Questlove serving as the show’s musical director, The Roots has been the official house band on the late night show since its launch last year on NBC.
