Constitution Center mocks Rolling Stone for erroneous cover

Whoops, Rolling Stone

Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks fantastic on the cover of this week's Rolling Stone magazine, promoting her excellent HBO comedy "Veep." The comedian is posed in the buff with the Constitution printed on her back.

There's only one problem with the image, as pointed out by many on Twitter, including the National Constitution Center:

Hey @RollingStone send your fact checkers to @ConstitutionCtr. John Hancock did not sign the Constitution. Otherwise, love the cover.
George Washington to .@RollingStone - Thanks for the shout out but no Hancock here (picture from Signers' Hall). http://t.co/bUHBOblDTR

Rather, Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence. Both the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence were, of course, signed in Philly.

Louis-Dreyfuss is having some fun with the error on Twitter:

In my defense, "I was in a drunken stupor" #crackexcuse http://t.co/Jo0HgFtpho cc: @RollingStone pic.twitter.com/f7SFgCsHBO
