Casting calls from Shyamalan, Conan O'Brien's company
Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" and "Justice" a pilot from Conan O'Brien's company both seek extras.
M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" is set for a July 2 release, but it's still doing some pickup shots. There's a general open casting call for physically fit men and women aged 18-65 and boys and girls 6-16 to work between March 22 and May 22. Martial arts training is a plus. The open call will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Independence Visitor Center (6th & Market). There's also an online open call for extras for "Justice," an NBC pilot being produced by Conan O'Brien's company that's set to shoot here starting next week. Heery Casting is looking for both AFTRA and nonunion actors, men and women 20-65, of all ethnicities to work in Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
