Update on Manayunk’s Isle Apartments

According to erstwhile City Council candidate Ori Feibush's real estate blog Naked City, construction is finally moving forward on the Isle Apartments in Manayunk.

Feibush notes that despite years of foot-dragging at the waterfront site on Cotton Street, a city sign announcing construction has recently popped up there. Also worth noting? The sign indicates first-floor parking, which could put cars in the flood-plain danger zone despite the stormwater management going on at newly-opened Venice Island.

Developers Realen haven't had much to say on the topic to Feibush or to the public. The apartment building's website is also under construction. The city sign declares that the apartments should be complete by November 2016.
