Football: Clement de-commits from Pitt

Glassboro's Corey Clement said Sunday that he has de-committed from the University of Pittsburgh.

"I'm looking at other options now," Clement said by text message.

Clement visited the University of Wisconsin this weekend. He has not committed to Wisconsin.

"I'm not committed anywhere," Clement said.

Clement became South Jersey's all-time leading rusher on Friday. He ran for 226 yards in a 35-0 win over Highland to jack his all-time total to 5,390 yards.

Clement has visited Nebraska and Notre Dame this fall as well as Wisconsin. He hopes to visit Alabama over Thanksgiving weekend with his best friend, Woodbury defensive back Anthony Averett.

Averett has committed to Alabama.

Clement said Wednesday that the recruiting process was "very stressful" and that he was considering other options besides Pitt.

He had committed to Pitt in the spring.

The 5-11, 205-pound Clement is South Jersey's all-time leader in a triple crown of rushing categories -- most yards in a game (478), a season (2,510) and in a career (5,390 and counting).
